IANTD

The International Association of Nitrox and Technical Divers has been at the cutting edge of diver training for more than 20 years. From the first nitrox course in the world to our Tek Lite programs which allow for reduced narcosis in the entry-level tech depth range, through to CCR Cave and Expedition Trimix, IANTD have been setting the standard since the very beginning.

Advanced Recreational Trimix (ART)

The foundation program for safe self sufficient diving. The IANTD Advanced Recreational Trimix program covers the core skills from the technical diver training programs including the use of twinsets with central isolation manifolds and decompression skills and procedures using bottom mixes of Recreational Trimix to a maximum of 48 metres.

Normoxic Trimix

The IANTD Normoxic Trimix Diver program is designed to train divers who wish to dive to depths between 39 and 60 msw (130 and 200 fsw), but do not wish to breathe air below 39 msw (130 fsw). Trimix affords a means of managing nitrogen narcosis by reducing the Equivalent Narcotic Depth (END) to a maximum of 36 msw (120 fsw).

Trimix Diver

This program is designed for those individuals already involved in deep diving activities but wish to develop the skills, ability and knowledge to enable safe diving in the Hypoxic Trimix depth range.

Expedition Trimix Diver

This program is designed to provide training for divers already involved in deep diving activities to more safely conduct exploration dives requiring extended decompression profiles and helium-based gas mixtures as well as information on remote operations and expedition preparations.
